Pumping Stations and Irrigation
Pump stations are a cost effective, environmentally acceptable, solution for the control of municipalities’ water and waste water infrastructure. Electrical controls are housed in a serviceable structure above ground while the pumps, valves and level controls are housed in the wells and service pits below. Switchbuild have manufactured kiosk pump stations for many years. Many of the road sides around Otago, and New Zealand are punctuated with Switchbuild Pump Stations
Custom made IP66 enclosures are fabricated to suit both the space requirements of the electrical components within and the environment. These can range from painted Stainless Steel enclosures (used in harsh coastal environments) to reduced height (meeting the aesthetic needs of neighbours)
An interior switchboard meets the requirements of the electrical wiring rules and provides a serviceable assembly.
Client specific requirement range from a separate section of cabinet to house taps, hoses and shelves for washdown chemicals (well maintenance) to the addition of pump plugs and sockets (enabling the removal of submersible pumps without an electrician).
